Yashnand Engineers & Contractors Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an HVAC & Fire Fighting Engineer with 5–8 years of relevant experience in building construction / MEP projects to supervise and coordinate HVAC and fire-fighting works at project sites in pan India. The candidate should have good knowledge of HVAC systems, fire-fighting systems, site execution, drawings, measurements, quality control and coordination with contractors and site staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day HVAC and fire-fighting works at site as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure HVAC and fire-fighting installations are executed as per project schedule, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Read, understand and interpret HVAC, fire-fighting, MEP and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, site engineers and other MEP teams.
• Supervise installation of HVAC equipment, ducting, piping, insulation, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, pumps and related equipment.
• Supervise installation of fire-fighting piping, pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, hose reels and other fire-fighting systems.
• Check levels, dimensions, alignment, routing and quality of HVAC and fire-fighting installations.
• Coordinate HVAC and fire-fighting works with civil, electrical, plumbing and other MEP services to avoid site conflicts.
• Monitor testing, commissioning and performance of HVAC and fire-fighting systems.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, inspection records and site documentation.
• Take measurements of completed works and assist in preparation/checking of contractor bills.
• Coordinate with the planning, billing, QA/QC and project management teams.
• Identify technical/site issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Ensure proper use, handling and storage of HVAC and fire-fighting materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, relevant standards and project requirements.
• Follow company safety procedures and ensure safe working practices at site.
• Assist the Project Manager and senior management in achieving project targets and timely completion of works.

Professional Skills

• Good knowledge of HVAC and fire-fighting systems and site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC, fire-fighting, MEP and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment, ducting, piping, insulation and testing & commissioning.
• Knowledge of fire-fighting systems, pumps, hydrants, sprinklers and related installations.
• Basic knowledge of quantity measurement, BOQ and contractor billing.
• Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently manage HVAC and fire-fighting site activities.
• Willingness to travel/work at project sites in and around Ahmedabad.
